Spread the love this Feb by joining us for an afternoon of creativity, connection and community at our first-ever AfriQueer and Itoju mentoring collaboration ✨

In the spirit of Valentine’s season, we’re hosting a swap and craft party to gather and reflect on love in all its forms (community love, self-love, chosen family etc) while swapping items, making art, and having meaningful conversations.

Bring items you’d like to give a new home—clothes, art, pantry items, books, or other gently used stuff.

This event is completely free to attend and will be an amazing opportunity connect with others, leave with some new items reflect and show your artistry.

✨ Here’s what to Expect:

  • Snacks and drinks. You’re also welcome to bring snacks or beverages to share 💖

  • An optional show-and-tell from 3–4 PM, where folks can share the stories behind the items they brought. Items can be selected during and after the show-and-tell. Please bring reusable bags to take your items home. Any remaining items will be donated (unopened food to food banks; clothing in good condition to appropriate charities).

  • Lots of art and craft supplies, you can also bring inspo for your art work .

  • A completed art piece to take home and new items for your home

  • Engaging conversations
